Born and raised in Perth, Yashi Renoir is a Melbourne-based artist whose practice involves mixed media abstracts as well as lino carving and printmaking. She honed her skills as a painter in portraiture, experimenting with every medium under the sun, before loosening up and following her instincts in abstract works. Guided by her intuition and shaped by contemporary expressionist influences, her abstract works seek to channel energies of the natural world and connect us to our environment through shapes and colour. When she's not painting, she's helping educators design programs and courses for university students.
