Tegan Iversen is a Reservoir based artist, illustrator and curator, who creates colourful and honest work. Tegan studied Fine Art (drawing) at the Victorian College of the Arts and since graduating has exhibited locally and internationally in both solo and group exhibitions. Her practice is inspired by ideas of community, play, family, love, fun, and all things kitsch and quirky. With a focus on bright colours and inspiration from this weird world we live in, Tegan's work often features imagery of flowers, food and cute things. Tegan co-founded and co-runs the collective Gems, which provides creative opportunities for women and non-binary people through events & their publication Gems zine. Tegan spends most of her time drawing, gallery hopping, watching films with her husband and most recently, taking care of her beautiful new baby boy.
