Through an evolving art practice, her artwork has moved from the early days from one of traditional representation, to the present, where she has the freedom to explore, take risks and to create intuitively.
Grounded in Abstraction, Sharon’s intentions in her work are to capture feelings associated with personal experience and meaningful places and bring them to her audience .
In her practice, spontaneous mark making and considered layering of colour on canvas, represents the relationship between line and form, bringing with it an element of the unexpected.
Through the use of colour, form and line, her work allows her to connect to self and embrace the ever changing beauty of nature.
