Preksha Uppal is a Melbourne-based self-taught artist who studied fine arts overseas but set aside her passion for over a decade. After an 11-year hiatus, she has returned to the world of painting with renewed energy and vision. Her practice delves into abstract and semi-abstract forms, weaving emotion, memory, and intuition through layered textures and vibrant colour palettes. This reconnection with art marks both a personal and creative revival, as she experiments with diverse mediums to rediscover her unique visual language.
Art has always been an intrinsic part of her—quietly present, patiently waiting. Now that she’s embraced it fully, there’s no turning back. While she has painted privately for years, Preksha is now stepping into the spotlight, sharing her evolving portfolio through social media and online platforms. Her body of work continues to grow, reflecting a journey of rediscovery and transformation, inviting viewers into a space where spontaneity meets reflection.
Having completed several commissioned pieces for residential and commercial clients, she is now setting her sights on exhibiting in art galleries and establishing her presence in the contemporary art scene.
