Though clearly creative from a young age my jobs and career had no outlet. Working as a bookkeeper & accountant my creativity found its way out through interior decorating my home, which I did often. I helped someone design and paint their house for his partner as a surprise after an overseas trip. To my relief she loved it!
I knew my brother was ‘the family artist’ and I learnt so much from him. I applied his knowledge & skills that he taught to my own style, generally abstract and with oil or acrylic on canvas.
I read widely, but specifically enjoy cutting edge scientific writings and philosophy, which often comes through in my artwork. I enjoy oils and acrylics as a way of expression, telling a story or taking a journey of discovery.
