My name is Mya, I am a Ballardong-Nyungar/Yamatji artist. I was born in South Australia and have grown up on Kaurna Land. I am passionate about art and history, I am able to express identity, connection and culture through my artwork. I enjoy using various colour pallets to express these themes and share my culture with others. Additionally, I have been able to deeply connect with culture through my art and use it as a learning tool. I often use painting and digital mediums, in which I depict animals, symbols and colours.
