For me creating comes from a gently joy, a peace and playfulness that is at the heart of who I am. My Bayside studio is my sanctuary and truly happy place. The works that emerge have a life of their own, unveiling from the surface in sometimes unexpected ways. I rarely know which medium I am going to play with on any given day and can move from printmaking, watercolours, inks and acrylics over consecutive days, flowing as the creativity takes me. This is what freedom feels like for me. Free of expectations, deadlines or commercial intent. Colour, nature and imagination inviting the viewer to pause, share the moment and just breath.
