As a self-taught artist with a background in architecture, my work is rooted in a deep appreciation for form, texture, and the quiet beauty of nature. Living in Melbourne, I’m endlessly inspired by my surroundings and drawn to organic materials—twigs, dried leaves, flowers, seashells—which I weave into my mixed media pieces. My recent exploration of plaster painting has added another tactile layer to my practice, creating a sense of depth and storytelling through texture.
Art is not just a personal journey for me; it’s a way to connect. Currently I am working with different learning centres under Monash Council and galleries where I teach young kids as well as adults. The styles I teach in these sessions are the result of years of personal experimentation and creative exploration. Through workshops tailored for all ages, I share my techniques and encourage creative expression. I'm also proud to contribute to my local creative community as a committee member of the Monash Community Art Society, helping keep the arts vibrant and accessible.
