Kim Loughron is an energetic artist; producing art much of the week. She particularly likes making collages.
In this exhibition entitled 'The Art of Collage', Kim uses painted, torn, cut and manipulated papers, borrowing from a range of art and popular media magazines. All her works are using upcycled supports and frames.
Kim’s compositions are visually striking. They tell stories. Look closely. Step back. You will really enjoy the often slightly surreal effects.
In 2023 Kim had her first solo exhibition at Glimpse Art Space in High Street Northcote. She has had works in a range of group exhibitions including Latrobe Regional Art Gallery Art for All Exhibition and Darebin’s A1 Art Salon.
