Kaori Lockwood

Kaori’s journey from her home country, Japan, to Australia has been one of personal growth and discovery. After initially working as a medical professional and then becoming a parent, she recently rekindled her childhood passion for painting. Despite having no formal art education, Kaori embraced traditional Japanese Sumi-e before exploring the expressive possibilities of oil and mixed media. Her work reflects her deep connection to self-discovery, embodying the belief that it’s never too late to pursue new paths. Through her art, she aims to inspire others to tune into their intuition and remain open to a new world, while embracing their vulnerability and authenticity.
