John was born and raised in Brisbane. After a career in IT, he found his way into photography. John started as a straight photographer and found his way into what is known as photographic expressionism. Most of his artwork features water, in various forms, or trees. He found this connection by accident when he realised he enjoyed photographing these two subjects. John's aim is to convey a feeling of presence in his artwork.
