Hayden Sines is a proud Queer Dunghutti artist creating under the name The Deadly Dunghutti. Born and raised on Bundjalung Country with family ties to Kempsey in the Macleay Valley, NSW, he now creates on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm.
Working primarily in bold acrylics, Hayden explores identity, culture, and connection through vibrant colour, pattern, and symbolism. His practice reflects the intersections of queerness and Aboriginality, honouring both as deeply connected parts of who he is and how he creates.
Through his work, Hayden reclaims space for queer Blak voices, creating artworks that invite reflection on identity, belonging, and connection to Country and community. Grounded in culture and care, his art fosters safe, inclusive spaces where all identities are seen, respected, and celebrated. 🖤
