Guy Coburn

Guy Coburn is an Australian photographer whose practice spans decades of professional work, undertaken both continuously and intermittently alongside broader creative pursuits. With a lifelong interest in photography, Coburn has returned repeatedly to the medium as a way of observing place, scale, and atmosphere. His recent aerial works of Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre explore the vastness and quiet power of Australia’s interior, revealing abstract patterns shaped by water, salt, and time. Seen from above, the landscape becomes both painterly and elemental, blurring the line between documentation and visual meditation. In the coming years, Coburn intends to further expand his focus on landscape photography, continuing to explore environments where natural forces and human perception intersect.
