Gabriela Mello (she/her) is a Latina ceramic artist currently based on
Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Country. Her artistic practice is deeply rooted
in her values, cultural heritage, and a diverse array of experiences that
have shaped her journey.
Drawing inspiration from emergent and reflexive practices, Gabie's
artistic exploration is a reflection of a meaningful dialogue with the
medium, showcasing distinctive textures and forms that emerge from
her profound connection to clay. Through a collaborative and co-creative
process with the material, Gabie's ceramic expressions capture the
essence of her artistic vision, embodying the ethos of creativity and
exploration.
