I work mainly in acrylic, with an occasional dabble in watercolour. Finding a common thread in my painting is difficult in terms of painting style or content, as I wander all over. What guides me in general is my thinking about life.
Painting helps me play a positive part in the interconnectedness of our universe. Through painting I can express both my wonder at the natural world and my concern that there be justice for all people and ecologies. Aside from that, for me it is an activity that involves fun, stimulation and ongoing challenge.
I would love art to be just one of the ways we move towards a more loving, positive world.
