Bjorn Le Miere who goes by the name Min is an emerging artist and photographer based in Melbourne. Raised in Brisbane, he has also lived in Vietnam and spent significant time in Korea, experiences that have shaped his style of artistic expression.
For more than a decade, Min has volunteered within the community, supporting individuals work though traumatic experiences. This and his own experiences have influenced the themes and message of his work, often depicting the message of acceptance, pain and healing.
In recent years, Min has worked on developing his skill in photography and watercolour digital art to create his work, often using tools such as infinite painter.
His logo depicts a butterfly—often used as a symbol of healing and change depicts that the dark parts of our lives are simply chapters in the book which is the story of our lives. We don’t erase those chapters, we learn from them while embracing the good things we have now while looking forward to the future.
Min’s motto is “every story matters” and his art seeks to capture fleeting moments, honouring those stories regardless of how small or insignificant they may seem to be.
