Meet Courtney, the Melbourne based Artist and Landscape Architect behind Audrey May Art.
As a lifelong creative, a childhood full of endless creative endeavors led her to study Landscape Architecture at University where her love of design intersected with her passion for nature.
For nearly 20 years she has designed outdoor spaces, large and small, public and private, to provide communities with a connection to the outdoors and most importantly, moments of joy as they move through their day-to-day lives. Acrylic painting came into the forefront later in life whilst Courtney was exploring other creative outlets to express this passion for colour and nature.
This led to her art practice Audrey May Art, named after her two Grandmothers, where she paints intuitively and extracts colour palettes directly from photographs taken in nature, so that each piece acts as a snapshot of a special memory or moment spent in nature.
