The creative process is something that has fascinated Angie and drawn her from a young age. Whilst she has always maintained several
creative pursuits, painting in oils is one she took up at a mature age.
Having lived in the bush on the outskirts of Eltham for many years, Angie's lifelong love of the environment has led to a focus on
Australian landscape and an interest in the fleeting effects of changing light. Some of Angie's current work explores the random drama of the skies at different times of day, including the effect of clouds casting their moving shadows on the hills, or the quiet, ephemeral quality of a landscape disappearing from view as the sun goes down. The beauty in nature continues to inspire Angie's work.
