An abiding theme throughout Ffyffe’s work is his exploration of faith, spirituality and the life of Jesus Christ. In 2012, Ffyffe revisited the theme of the Passion of Christ, revealing his theological insights, deep faith and desire to bring his understanding of suffering, death, and resurrection to his audience. Ffyffe painted scenes exploring as he said ‘the possibility of enlightenment by having faith in God, by turning toward the light and feeling the rays.’
