wo Raindrops grew from my exploration of embroidery as a form of painting- using thread as I would use colour, line and brushstroke. Traditionally associated with women’s domestic craft, embroidery is something I’m interested in reclaiming and elevating as contemporary fine art.
By reducing that idea to something small enough to wear, Two Raindrops becomes a tiny talisman: art removed from the gallery wall and carried with you.
