Trainspotting marks a pivotal moment in the artist’s practice, where restrained monochrome cityscapes begin to slip into colour and abstraction. Moving from figurative clarity toward fragmented form, the work occupies a liminal space between mind and environment, black and white and colour, stillness and motion. Inspired by twentieth-century abstraction and café based urban observation, the composition taps into psychological flânerie. A solitary figure is caught between movement and pause, suspended in time, as the city dissolves into interior thought and subconscious drift.
