This work is part of the artist’s collection, titled ‘hello sky’. For over ten years Deanna has been photographing a small hill up the road from her bush property located near Castlemaine. Each time she walks, runs, rides her bike or chases her dog past the hill, she takes a photo from the very same spot.

Deanna Neville is a photographer who lives on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Central Victoria near Castlemaine. Her work is inspired by her local landscape, an active lifestyle and the joys of country living. This artwork is the culmination of many years of observing the heart of where she has been living for over 25 years on her bush block and her passion for nature, nurturing the land and chasing clouds.
