During our rise REVOLT root exhibition in March 2023, my exhibition partner, Christina, came up with the idea of starting a live piece while we were sitting in the gallery. It was such a genius idea and a way to show viewers how we collaborate together. Christina and I had made three other pieces together for our show (the rest were our own pieces) and we are convinced we make magic together. Starting another collab in the middle of our exhibition was ambitious (we didn’t finish it before the show closed) but it was such a fun, engaging conversation piece. In true alchemical style, we sold her when she was merely a sketch. She was meant to be and now she lives in her forever home. Printed on fine cotton rag in archival, museum quality inks by local Melbourne printer.
