The mending explores what happens after we crack, the only thing we can do is to repair. This is the only piece in this series that shows a wabi Sabi like effect with the application of gold leaf. The figure is solitary and while not completely mended just yet shows the repair underway. The cityscape behind in this work a representation of a life that awaits.
