The Land That Keeps On Giving (2026) is a love letter to my mother’s Country, Djugun. The Land That Keeps On Giving (2026) shows collage interpretations of boab trees (an iconic native botanical plant from the Kimberley region) and boab nuts, which hold cultural significance within Djugun Country. This work is also shaped by my lived experience of these trees, having climbed them, eaten their fruit, and carved the nuts in my youth. This work speak to the cyclical nature of life through return, renewal, and ongoing connection. These forms reflect how life continues through change and growth, speaking to the holistic relationship that Country holds with all living beings.
