Feeling deeply is often mistaken for fragility. I see it as one of our greatest strengths.
With The Courage to Feel, I wanted to celebrate the heart not simply as an organ, but as the place where love, grief, joy and resilience coexist. Created with needle and thread—a medium traditionally dismissed as “women’s work”—this piece continues my exploration of reclaiming textile art as fine art. Every stitch is a reminder that vulnerability isn’t something to overcome; it’s where courage begins.
