When I was painting this, I was thinking about how our moon helps to stabilise the seasons and how the stars are brighter during particular seasons. Our Ancestors have been looking at the same stars and moon for thousands and thousands of years, using them for tracking, for guiding them home. We have many stories from our Ancestors about the stars. When our Ancestors pass away, they become beautiful, bright stars. They are all up there, watching over our Mob, guiding us, and keeping us safe in our journeys through life.
