This sheep skull, ethically sourced from a paddock on my In-Laws’ farm, has been transformed into a protective talisman. Hand-painted in acrylic paint, it is a contemporary memento mori exploring intuition, transformation and the power to see and feel beneath the surface. It contains a flaming sacred heart and all-seeing eye, wild botanicals, celestial symbols and checkerboard markings remnicent of Alice in Wonderland.
