This limited edition lino print with small areas of collage is a nod to childhood memories. Though this is in the modern day, the scene is something that was part of my childhood growing up in and around St Kilda and its many unique locations, including Luna Park, the Esplanade, the beach and the George hotel. Using collage sparingly and focuing o n the tonal values that the bright sunlit day has created, this space is both sunny and sheltered as a result of the tree creating shade on the sidewalk. A special place to have lunch!
