St Irene & Bob the Cat is a reworking of a painting I completed in 2024 for an exhibition called Divine Darkness @Red Gallery. Since 2024 I’ve started experimenting a lot with digital tools like Procreate, which I find very exciting but also very different to painting ’old school’. Both old and new media offer their own materiality, and I’m beginning to enjoy digital media a great deal—sometimes even mixing both up. What I loved in this instance is the precision with which line and decoration worked with colour to produce the final result. The artwork is a limited edition print on gallery quality paper that is numbered 1/20 and signed by the artist.
