Inspired by Pop Surrealist artist, Mark Ryden, and an intrigue for the 1940’s, Jacqui has drawn inspiration from the courageous nurses of WW2 in creating this piece. The strength they had to push through and defy roles moves beyond the typical as they broke the way through for many with their courage, sacrifice and integrity.
