Native Flora (2026) is a series of collage works depicting five native flowers, created using my handmade paper. The work explores native flora through form, texture, and material. The use of handmade paper is central to the process, embedding a sense of place into the work. Through layering and composition, I translate the flowers into tactile forms that sit between observation and personal interpretation. This series reflects the beauty of Country, where native plants hold ecological and cultural significance as part of living, interconnected systems.
