I have been working collaboratively for the past 2 years with fellow artist Lindesay Dresdon. You can learn more about Lindesay in this exhibition. Our collaboration is an ongoing shared materials project. We exchange supports and batches of papers and artworks which we then use to create individual works which are connected by the shared materials and an aesthetic which is similar, yet different. These works have developed and evolved as we share our observations and insights, and more materials. The supports/papers/surfaces are painted or printed upon or found from domestic sources. The limited palette is often challenging, but also liberating. Cut, torn and glued onto cardboard panels, the collage technique lends itself to our own intuitive and independent design work. It is always a delightful surprise to see the similarities and differences when we reveal to each other our completed panels. We have shown the works from 2024 at SOL gallery and from 2025 at Gallery Unbound.
