Painted in red ochre with white dot work, featuring the star and journey lines. The #7 shape is a traditional fighting and hunting boomerang from the southeast – the hook was used to catch and trip, to pull down game, and in close combat. Unlike the returning boomerang, this one is made to fly
straight and hit hard. Every piece I make holds a story and connection to Country. This timber was grown from the earth, shaped by hand, sharing
stories of land where I stand.
Wood: Solid hardwood, fire-hardened Finish: Natural ochre, hand-painted dot work Made: Around Victoria Peninsula – reflecting
