My work often begins with a landscape image, then I imagine how that landscape may inspire an alternative view. This artwork began with a photograph I took deep inside the ancient beech forests of the South Island of New Zealand. I was inspired to imagine magical creatures that may live there, just out of sight, whose purpose is to watch over the forest. I adapted elements from my collection of digital assets to create this scene where the Dryads, the protectors of the forest, meet to ensure all is well for all creatures of the forest.
