In ‘Leaves on the wind and stream’ I aimed to use line and colour to create a sense of organic matter and movement. Each line comes together to build a sense of ease and flow, but also the threat of a sudden change in direction at any moment. This piece was inspired by recent trips to The Netherlands and viewing of van Gogh’s work, as well as exploration of other impressionist works.
