This piece is part of Rise for Charity (Oct 8 – 26), where each artist selects a charity that matters to them and decides how much of their profits to donate — turning creativity into kindness.

Kaitiaki – Guardian and Protector Kaitiaki borders our traditional Kaakahu/Korowai (cloak). Woven as a cloak, this design wraps it’s holder in warmth and protection. The triangle pattern are the teeth of the Taniwha (Guardian or Rangatira – chief).
