'How does it feel to be the White Problem?' Set of 2 cards - Gallery Unbound - Northcote Art Gallery
‘How does it feel to be the White Problem?’ Greatly influenced by the writings in Yancy’s ‘White Self-Criticality beyond Anti-racism’ (2015), as well as WHA Hunter’s personal experiences in the workplace, this body of work explores what it feels like to be the White Problem. The work’s focus is to make visible White people’s inability to acknowledge their complicity with Racism and Settler Colonialism in Australia.
