Nature, its beauty and the wonder of its mysteries have always fascinated me. I find being in nature is very calming, relaxing and invigorating. I am continually intrigued by the various patterns nature provides. I am humbled to be able to use objects of beauty from nature to create an art form.
I refer to my work as Nature’s Art, as I utilise rock formations as a backdrop along with the minerals contained within the rocks, to create the abstract images you see.
Some of my images are of rock formations, as you would see them in nature, but on the whole, I have enhanced the colour to create the vibrant eye-catching images you see. It is the various minerals within the rock that determines the colours that are displayed. Not all rocks are suitable for my abstract art. It is a case of try it and see!
I also enjoy photographing birds and other wildlife. I prefer to photograph wildlife in their natural habitat where possible.
