Dancing Cats and Saint Betty is a reworking of a painting completed in 2024 for an exhibition called Divine Darkness @Red Gallery. Since 2024 the artist started experimenting a lot with digital tools like Procreate, which she finds very exciting but also very different to painting ’old school’. Angela Ndalianis reimagines the female saint through Byzantine iconography, vibrant geometric abstraction and mischievous cats in her Female Saints with Cats series. The artwork is a limited edition print on gallery quality paper that is numbered 1/20 and signed by the artist.
