This painting is born from a personal, unexpected moment of natural magic: being suddenly surrounded by a cloud of Monarch butterflies. “The Dance of the Monarchs” translates this beautiful, wild event onto the canvas. It serves as an active reminder that nature’s extraordinary wonder is often present and accessible, reinforcing the idea that art can capture and preserve a fleeting moment right in our own environment.
