I created this wee painting in an art making setting with my daughter Naomi. You can learn more about Naomi in this exhibition. We sat opposite each other. I asked Naomi to choose 3 colours from a colourful array of Japanese watercolours. Naomi is an intuitive colourist and these are the colours she chose. The hidden rule of the game was that I parallel her use of colour. The same colour palette, the same media, the same size substrate, oh yes and the same surname!
