‘Bamay’ is a program on NITV which takes its name from the Bundjalung language. It means ‘land’ and the show explores landscapes from all over Australia, mostly seen from above. These images are a great backdrop to dinner cooking at 6pm on weekdays. This work is summoned from visual memories of flying over Central Australian landscapes.
