This is one of the hero works from my solo exhibition ’Supremacy of the Zombie Bunnies’, Red Gallery 20 Oct-9 Nov 2025. The story focused on the discovery of a virus spread by rabbits that impacted on the human race, transforming them into human-mutants. Artemis is one of the “Bunny Girls” and I see her as a product of wild sovereignty. She represents a young woman becoming something beyond human through hybrid transformation. It embodies the new, change, and adventurous exploration. But I also understand Wild Sovereignty as a state that relates to me, who closed the door halfway to my life as an academic and opened another to begin the process of reclaiming my creative authority.
