Andrew Scott-Pendlebury is an artist in his own right – a musician who played with the band ‘The Sports’ in the late 70’s and early 80’s. His was a fantastic face to paint and I was happy with his ‘likeness’ right from the beginning of the painting. I decided that this one had merit at this stage of the painting and decided to ‘leave it there’. Sometimes it is hard to know when to stop but I really like the ‘sketchy’ feel of this oil portrait.
Painted from life in the Tonal Impressionist method.
Framed with a quality white box frame to enhance the contemporary look of this portrait.
