This diptych, Acacia Distillation, is a kiln formed glass artwork which will look equally good hanging in a window or on a wall. I condensed the essence of the wattle to its easily recognisable and iconic leaves and balls of flowers. Made by placing clear glass pieces atop a clear glass base with the gaps filled with straw coloured frit, some of which is iridescent; then finally fired in a kiln to fuse all elements together.
