On the surface, being an artist is about sharing and spreading ideas.

When you dig deeper, it gets more complex. The artist must reveal vulnerabilities and expose them for pubic consumption. Next comes the bravery. The steely nerves. The shield from criticism, both external but also (and mostly) internal.

The artist learns from every step along the way…

…artwork and its process provide an education in skill. Exposing the piece to an audience comes with an entirely new set of lessons.

Information you need to know about exhibiting with Gallery Unbound

Shows are 3 weeks long. Rates are as follows 

  • Gallery 01 – 21 lineal meters (with 3.7m ceiling) of hanging space (including the window which can be double hung adding another 2 lineal meters – so 23 lineal meters in total) – $2800+gst
  • Gallery 02 – 21 lineal meters (with 3.7m ceiling) of hanging space (including the window  – $2800+gst
  • Gallery 03 – 18 lineal meters (with 2.7m ceiling) of hanging space – $2400 +gst
  • Gallery 04 – 18 lineal meters (with 2.7m ceiling) of hanging space – $2400 +gst

 

Gallery 03 and 04 can be split in half as follows:
Gallery 03.1 or 04.1 – 9.5 lineal meters of hanging space – $1400 +gst
Gallery 03.2 or 04.2 – 8.5 lineal meters of hanging space – $1200 +gst

Floor plan below shows the gallery rooms and how they can be split.

Multiple combinations of the gallery rooms can be hired.

There will be a 5% discount if multiple rooms are hired (applies to full room hire rates only), and 10% if the whole gallery is hired.

There is a hanging system in the space, all works must be hung via this system. I have a magnet system that can also hang from the hanging system.

Currently there are 5 plinths available.

Deposit is usually 30%.

Commission is 20% +gst

These prices include access to me for anything you need advice with. I am here for you. I have a lot of information and knowledge if you want to take advantage of it (exhibiting, tech wise, marketing, business operations, website and mindset etc).
