A painting created in my early years (1997) and never exhibited. I have been rekindled with my older art recently and appreciate the beauty in them, something I didn’t see in my earlier artist years. My style has since evolved but there are elements hat remain still strong in my practice. Notably, focusing strictly on form without a distracting background, so the focus is purely on form and the story behind it. The story is a personal one, as I experienced issues with my own body. Translating onto canvas made sense & was relieving at an impressionable age.
