Observation 01 considers what becomes visible when attention is given to what might otherwise be overlooked. Studio residue settles into the fabric, leaving incidental marks, folds and variations that record the conditions of their making. Light sanding reveals and emphasises selected traces within the surface, directing attention without imposing a new image. What was unintended becomes something to pause over, examine and reconsider.
